Join our Bees to Mead experience tour with our beekeeper, Luis! The tour starts at our Honey House in Wahiawa, where we will transport you to our nearby apiary 5 minutes away. You will watch and learn how bees are kept, see how our beekeepers harvest honey and how mead is made. The tour ends at our Honey House with a mead & honey tasting with small cheese & fruit plate. ​ Tour includes: - Transportation to-and-from our Honey House to nearby apiary - Bee protective gear during the tour - Mead & Honey tasting - Light cheese & fruit plate *Closed shoes are mandatory for your protection. **Safety & Liability Waiver required for participants to visit the apiary. If you are reserving on behalf of others in your party, please ensure each person in your party signs the waiver prior to the start of the tour. Luis, the tour guide and beekeeper for the company, took us to see the bees, explained the caretaking and honey gathering process, and drove us back for multiple mead tastings in addition to some snacks. Back at the main building we got to try six samples as well as see the process they use to extract honey and produce mead.
